Freddy Parish is an award winning singer/songwriter, guitarist and banjo player out of Tucson, AZ. His career has included performing on the stage of Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, opening slots for Marty Stuart and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, blue ribbons in the West Virginia Open Clawhammer Banjo competition and others, and being selected by Nashville Musician Association president Dave Pomeroy as a winner in the songwriting contest Passport to Nashville.
Of Parish's 2021 EP, A Cold July in Tucson, UK magazine For Folk Sake wrote: "With a poet’s eye for hardship and a string-band leader’s ear for lush but focused arrangement, Freddy Parish delivers a mix of lyrical brains and musical brawn..."
In addition to his original songwriting, Parish arranges and performs traditional old time, bluegrass and country music. He has also worked as a sideman for national touring artists including Kashus Culpepper and western singer Joni Harms.
